So how are those tryouts going?

Well, the Sox lost again last night as Junichi Tazawa joined the gang that couldn't throw straight and allowed three consecutive hits in relief to plate the winning run.

*sigh*

Starter Rubby de la Rosa didn't do too badly, going 6 innings and giving up only two runs. So let's add him to our little tracker and we'll see how Joe Kelly, that guy the Sox got for John Lackey, does tonight against his old team.

  Last appearance
Name record era pi-k innings bb k
Anthony Ranaudo 1-0 3.00 91-53 6.0 4 2
Allen Webster 1-1 6.75 71-39 2.2 6 1
Clay Buccholz 5-7 6.20 114-61 5.0 5 5
Rubby de la Rosa 3-4 3.43 94-57 6.0 1 4
Joe Kelly 2-2 3.86 97-53 7.0 4 2

Update:
How 'bout that? The Sox won last night's game 2-1 behind a solid outing by new acquisition Joe Kelly who went 7 strong innings and only gave up one run. Took a liner off the leg in the fourth and kept going, so he's got some testicular fortitude as well. Nice debut by the new guy   :-)

I was going to post an uncensored pic here, since I'm all objectionable and mature content now, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So you'll have to click on the image to see the nsfw version:
