Maitland Ward joins the campaign

The Free the Nipple campaign officially became valid today as my favorite redhead joined the cause with the following shot across the internet media censor's bow:

maitland ward free the nipple

Vive la resistance!

While at the other end of the spectrum, Pirelli drove a stake through the heart of its iconic yearly calendar by replacing photos of models like Kate Upton and Miranda Kerr with absurdly photoshopped images of Amy Schumer and steroidal Serena Williams among other hotties like aged Patti Smith, etc.:

amy schumer pirelli tire calendar
serena williams pirelli tire calendar

Not sure exactly what garages Pirelli thinks will want to tack this ode to political correctness up on their walls, but unless 99% of auto mechanics suddenly turned into gay celebrity bloggers overnight, I'm guessing this will be their least popular calendar ever.

Gillian Anderson is dead to me

gillian anderson is an idiot

I wasn't going to post stuff today, but this just put me over the top:

PETA put out an ad starring Gillian Anderson based on the scene from the book (and crappy movie) Hannibal, where Anderson sits at a table looking drowsy and drugged out. As the camera pans back you see what looks like a leg carved up on the table for a feast. She purrs for the camera that eating meat " a matter of taste" and then the camera pans downward and you see that her own leg has been amputated. Violá, she's dining on her own leg.

Give me a f*cking break! Eating turkey is the same as carving up your neighbor according to these wackos. Because, you know, all the amazing things turkeys have done throughout history -- polio vaccine, heart surgery, saving those minors trapped in the cave-in . . . the list goes on and on showing turkey's contribution to society's survival and evolution.

We were put on this planet and given dominion over the land and the creatures upon it. They are our food. Period. Don't be cruel. Don't destroy the environment where you have to live. But I'm eating that turkey. And that pig. And that cow. And those eggs. And get off my f*cking back with your sanctimonious bullsh*t!

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, and after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

aside:  Nice rack on Gillian there. Someone get a boob job recently?

Happy Thanksgiving!

happy thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to my handful of loyal readers.

One day a year when we can enjoy guiltless caloric consumption and lazing on the couch watching football. So enjoy it.

Eschew the pathetic attempts to turn this into a day of political discussion and remember why we celebrate this day. Be thankful for what you have in this life -- your family, food to eat, and a roof over your head. A lot of people don't, so remember the good fortune of your life and use this day to appreciate it all.

Take care my friends.

Maitland Ward won't be helping me in the kitchen tomorrow

Which is regrettable because I'm kind of digging her cooking ensemble here:

maitland ward cooks thanksgiving turkey

But then I doubt I'd be properly focused on preparing my Thanksgiving meal if I had someone dressed like that helping me in the kitchen.

Still . . . if you're gonna have company, I could do a lot worse. That's for sure :-)

Lizzy Cundy had a moment

I had to GOOGLE Lizzy Cundy to find out who the eff she is. It seems she's a 45 year old UK television host who does programs about WAGS, who are, if I'm right here, the wives of British footballers (soccer players here in the colonies). Anyway, she turned up at a charity thing wearing this fairly unimpressive dress:

lizzy cundy nipple slip

Well, she didn't get too far along the red carpet, photo op area before things went wrong:

lizzy cundy nipple slip

I'm no dress designer, but looking at those oddly shaped straps, I'm wondering if there's supposed to be a chain or something across the shoulders that would help keep the dress tight against the wearer's torso. No matter though, it's off to the races now:

lizzy cundy nipple slip

And one final note, when the photographers at an event keep going "Turn sideways for us . . . lean back . . . a little more . . . yeah, perfect" you might want to wonder if there's something wrong with your dress. Just sayin'

Tara Reid set the standard for oblivious red carpet exposure some years ago:

Lizzy's not at that level here, but she's a close second.

Here's something I don't get

And like a great many things, I'm sure this is just an "age" thing, 'cause I'm old and stuff, but I saw this pic of Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon out and about the other day and something caught my eye:

lourdes leon nose ring

And no, I'm not talking about those eyebrows that practically have a life of their own. But her nose ring.

In truth, I find the overdoing of tattoos and piercings on the younger generations to be a bit off-putting in general. But I've come to appreciate the artwork of some of the ink being done and some of the jewelry kids adorn themselves with isn't completely horrible.

But of all the questionable (to me) piercings, I don't get the ring through the nose. There's a cultural significance to that, and it isn't good. It conjures up the notions of chattel . . . slavery . . . involuntary submission . . . subjugation . . . all things I would think a young, supposedly independent, feminist-type woman of today would find abhorrent and would seek to distance herself from.

And yet I see more and more young ladies with a ring through their nose. Maybe they're trying to re-appropriate negative imagery, and if so, more power to them. But to me, the right way to do this is just let it die out and disappear into the dust bin of history.

But like I said, I'm just an old man. Maybe I just don't get it.

Effing finally!! Thank you.

In a recent column at National Review online, writer Charles C. Cooke puts out there for far more viewers than I could ever to hope to reach, exactly what I've been saying since we started the 2016 campaign for President of The United States:

"Whatever he might claim before his adoring crowds, Trump is not in fact an antidote to Barack Obama. He is his parallel."

Thank you, Charles! *man hug* I have said repeatedly that we do not need another petulant, thin-skinned wanna-be king in the White House just because he's running with an R after his name. Or as Cooke puts it:

"As has been made abundantly clear by his incessant mewling and pathetically thin skin, Donald J. Trump is not in fact an unwaveringly resolute tough guy of the type you would hope to find standing next to you in the trenches, but an insecure attention seeker who cannot help but pander to his audiences’ prejudices."

Precisely. As Charles Krauthammer pointed out recently, Trump is running his campaign like a reality TV show. He's simply in it to win it. He doesn't really care about being President, he simply wants to win the contest to feed his ego. Honestly, can you truly imagine this vulgar cretin constrained by the office and all it entails for four years? If elected, Trump could conceivably be the first President to step down voluntarily before his term is up because he simply didn't like the job.

We saw and heard TV pundits and analysts, particularly after the last debate, give Trump a pass as he showed a distinct weakness on substantive policy discussion -- whether domestic or foreign. The boilerplate apologies go along the lines that Trump is so far out in the lead, he really didn't need to have a great debate, just be gaffe free, blah, blah, blah.

In fact, both Trump and Dr. Carson do badly in substantive debates because neither has any experience actually running anything. And both are staggeringly ignorant on foreign policy and domestic economic policy. Dr. Carson is a good, honorable, decent man. And I like him personally. But the time when a nice guy could just amble into the White House and run this country armed with only simple ethics and desire ended over a hundred years ago. You need to know how to politic and craft policy and work your political opponents to create compromise to get things done. Something that despite the incessant vitriol leveled at George Bush, he managed to do quite well. And this is where our current President has failed so dramatically. Unable to get his own party to enact legislation when they controlled both houses of Congress. Or just pass his own budget. Once! In eight years!! Ridiculous!!!

Barack Obama was elected on a plate of childishly simplistic rhetoric. And we have seen how that has failed to translate to actual achievement. Thus Obama rules as King via executive order. Something we fought a war to free ourselves from a couple of hundred years ago.

Cooke points out this very thing in his article about Trump:

"In Trump’s world, America will be restored to glory when his handpicked team of experts is permitted to experiment upon the public outside of the usual constitutional limits. Nowhere in his rhetoric will you find any reference to America’s pre-existing cultural and legal traditions, or to the necessary bounds that free men insist be imposed upon the state. There is no talk of "freedom"; no reflexive grounding of ideas in the Declaration and the Federalist Papers; no conceptual explanation or underlying philosophy. There is nothing, except will to power. By his own admission, Trump’s are the politics of doing enthusiastically what works in the moment; of Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt; of the administrative state and of bureaucratic expertise."

Again, precisely. Trump's standard remark when pressed is "Trust me" or "We'll get it done" but never how. We heard this all before. Eight years ago. Are Republican voters so stupid as to fall for this again? I hope not. But at least others are starting to point the problems with Trump as President.

Glad I'm not the only one saying this stuff now.

One more thing.

Trump and Carson, and to a lesser extent, Fiorina, all as outsiders will have to have a coterie of advisors working with them to inform their President when making policy decisions. We've seen what happens when you pick a group of radical leftists to advise a President (Obama), so I think it would be good for the voters to learn who would have the ear of each of these candidates if they reach the Oval Office.

Don't you?

Rose McGowan is not amused

As I mentioned previously, Bruce Jenner was named Glamour Magazine's Woman of the Year. I chose not to wax enthusiastically disgusted over this but my former vision of pale-skinned hotness did not hesitate to let the world know exactly how she feels about it via her Facebook page:
"Caitlyn Jenner you do not understand what being a woman is about at all. You want to be a woman and stand with us- well learn us. We are more than deciding what to wear. We are more than the stereotypes foisted upon us by people like you. You’re a woman now? Well fucking learn that we have had a VERY different experience than your life of male privilege. Woman of the year? No, not until you wake up and join the fight. Being a woman comes with a lot of baggage. The weight of unequal history. You’d do well to learn it. You’d do well to wake up. Woman of the year? Not by a long fucking shot."

I think what may have set Rose off, was Jenner's remark in the issue's interview about how he struggles to find clothes to wear. Not sure about Rose these days. She seems to be rapidly turning into your crazy Aunt Rose going off wildly on any particular issue that finds the sweet spot in her anger zone.

Last time she went off, it was over some casting director asking her to show up in a tight sweater for an audition for a movie where she would have to wear a tight sweater. Yeah, I know, I don't get it either. I love my Rosie, but her most memorable career moment is probably when she wore this to the MTV Awards:

rose mcgowan - the dress

So it's not like she waving Oscars at the folks who piss her off. But she does have a career to maintain, and like any good liberal, once she got savaged by the SJW's who demand absolute fealty to their agenda, Rose quickly backed down and offered this lukewarm qualification:
"Let me amend this by saying I’m happy for what she’s doing visibility wise for the trans community, and I’m happy she’s living her truth, but comments like hers have consequences for other women. How we are perceived, what our values are, and leads to more stereotyping. If you know you are going to be speaking to media about being a woman, maybe come to understand our struggles."

I think I would have been happier had she shown some backbone and stood her ground over her comments, but you just don't see that much any more from folks in the public eye.  *sigh*

Interestingly, there's a whole war brewing in the LBGT community over the fact that the LGB's don't think the T's deserve the same blank check civil liberties appeasement that the militant gays are pushing for. I think there is actually a "Drop the T" petition on one of those online petition sites. The T's are pushing back by calling the LGB's trans-phobic and discriminatory and every other name that the LGBT community has been leveling at Christians and conservatives who take a dim view of their aberrant sexual orientation for years.

There's a certain sense of Schadenfreude watching these groups go after each other like this.

In closing, here's a couple of pics of Rose doing . . . I'm not sure, maybe body-casting or something. I don't know. But she's topless and still has the body to show off like that. So there ya go.

Which is the bigger embarrassment?

That Glamour named Bruce Jenner it's Woman of the Year? Or that GQ named President Obama it's Man of the Year?

Frankly, in my opinion, the pronouns in both cases are mis-used.

Christina Milan has a nipple ring too

As we saw earlier with Kendall Jenner, it turns out that Christina Milan is also sporting a nipple ring these days. However, unlike Jenner, who hinted at hers at a family birthday party, Christina showed hers off in a see-thru shirt at a Disney premiere because . . . who knows? I guess that's how we dress for kiddie movies now.  *sigh*

That should about do it for Rhonda Rousey

In case you haven't watched SportsCenter this morning, last night Holly Holm definitively knocked Rhonda Rousey out to win the Women's UFC title.

With Rousey already pushed into the second round of a fight for the first time in two years, Holm landed a crushing left to Rousey's jaw:

holly holm defeats rhonda rousey

Rousey was staggering around punch drunk when Holm landed a solid elbow to the Champion's jaw that left stunned her badly. After dismissively throwing Rousey to the canvas, Holm waited for Rousey to struggle to her feet then landed a brutal kick to the head that sent Rousey to the canvas for good:

holly holm defeats rhonda rousey

Falling on top of her downed opponent, Holm threw several punches that missed cleanly until one landed solidly on the helpless Champion and they ended the fight.

Unlike the former golden girl of the UFC, Gina Carrano, who was much better looking, Rousey had little qualms about exploiting herself in photoshoots and other media endeavours, which made her a bigger star in the entertainment world than perhaps she deserved.

Howevery, just as in the case of Carrano, a decisive loss such as this (I saw one fight stat that said Rousey was hit more times in this one fight than in her 11 previous wins combined) will probably signal the end of Rousey's ubiquitous media presence. I doubt we'll see any more mesh bikini sets, Carl's Jr's commercials or Expendables sequels in her future.

Oops, silly me, still more media love to mine with Rousey here. The December issue of ESPN Magazine has the dethrowned Champ on the cover along with a glowing puff-piece on Rousey and how she's dealing with getting destroyed in that fight. I don't doubt that Rousey's a great fighter, but her quotes about the fight seem a bit self-serving to me. She goes on about how she was basically out on her feet from the first round when Holm delivered a thunderous blow that split Rousey's lip and knocked several teeth loose. According to Rousey, she refused to trust the messages sent by her body and just soldiered on towards the inevitable loss. Okay, maybe so, but the look at what a warrior in defeat I am vibe in the article has me shaking my head.

The media will continue to ignore Holm, despite her engaging personality, and the fact that she's just as attractive, if not more so, than Rousey. There was a time when the fighter who dethrowned a Champion was feted by society and the press. Guess that time's gone now.

Oh, and Rousey's still going to the Marine Ball with the marine who asked her. Isn't that special? And btw, that whole thing about asking celebs to the Ball needs to stop. It was clever the first time, now it's just tedious.

Thoughts and prayers for France

My prayers go out to, and for, the families of the victims and of course, the victims themselves, of today's terrorist attack in Paris.

I'm sure there will be a lot of political posturing and boneheaded statements made over this tragedy. But this isn't the time to bring them up.

Ted Cruz eloquently defends Citizens United

Ran across this vid on another site, and it is the best rebuttal of the knuckle-dragging leftist complaint about Citizens United and the intended squelching of conservative free speech I've seen yet:

Maitland Ward's award winning photoshoot

As highlighted previously, my favorite redhead won the coveted Miss Fall Cup last month. Here's a few more pics from that contest that I'm sure helped win over the judges. She certainly gets my vote:

Kendall Jenner is a true Kardashian

When Kendall Jenner turned 18, she celebrated by releasing this see through picture showcasing her barely legal boobs:

To celebrate her one millionth follower on Twitter or Facebook or something, she went full monty with this pic:

Intersectionality, LBGT facism, and ESPN

One of the things I like to do on Sunday mornings is run to McDonald's for breakfast take-out and sit and eat and watch The Sports Reporters on ESPN. It is generally a pretty enjoyable program with excellent writers, who are not always good speakers, discussing trenchant sports events and topics.

In today's closing comments section, gay columnist Israel Gutierrez (and that is an important distinction to note here) lashed out at former MLB player and Houston native Lance Berkman for his support for the effort to overturn the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance. In doing so, Gutierrez truncated Berkman's comment to make it sound more mean-spirited than it actually was. Gutierrez quoted Berkman as saying "Tolerance is the virtue that's killing this country."

On the surface, that sounds like a horrific statement to make. But what Berkman said in toto was something much more reasonable:

"To me tolerance is the virtue that’s killing this country. We’re tolerant of everything. You know, everything is okay, and as long as you want to do it and as long as it feels good to you then it’s perfectly acceptable do it. Those are the kinds of things that lead you down a slippery slope, and you’ll get in trouble in a hurry.

As a Christian I felt that I had an obligation to stand for what is right. I am about articulating my belief system and taking a stand for it when I have the opportunity."

The ordinance, known locally as the HERO act, was overturned handily, like every other public referendum on forcing gay rights down the throats of voting public has been. Berkman pointed to one aspect -- allowing transgendered men into women's bathrooms, a point that just made headlines in a school district recently, but the ordinance had a lot of interesting language and room for interpretation in it.

It talks about establishing rights for those with protected characteristics. What in the world is a protected characteristic, you ask? Well, let's look at thte ordinances definition --

Protected characteristic means an individual's sex, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, familial status, marital status, military status, religion, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity or pregnancy.

Hmmm . . . gender identity? Defined herein as:

Gender identity means an individual's innate identification, appearance, expression or behavior as either male or female, although the same may not correspond to the individual's body or gender as assigned at birth.

So according to this ordinance, a fully heterosexual male, who also happens to be a cross-dresser can claim equal rights to women's facilities. Anywhere and anytime. His protected characteristic of appearance or behavior as female gets his perversion a free pass. Any wonder this got voted down overwhelmingly?

And how about this murky term familial status? This is defined within the ordinance as:

Familial status means the status of a person resulting from being domiciled with an individual younger than 18 years of age in regard to whom the person:
(1) Is the parent or legal custodian; or
(2) Has the written permission of the parent or legal custodian for domicile with the individual; or
(3) Is in the process of obtaining legal custody.

So under this ordinance, a pedophile who is working to abolish age of consent laws and therefore is in the process of obtaining legal custody of his victim would find Houston to be a sort of sanctuary city for him and others of with his perverse obsession.

Of course, none of these extrapolations matter to Gutierrez and other SJW, they just want to smash down anyone who dares to be on the wrong side of history as the popular expression goes now.

Interestingly, in an earlier block of the program, Mitch Albom was lashing out at Jerry Jones for giving Greg Hardy a second chance. Personally, I think Hardy is a thug and should be tossed out of the NFL. But Albom made an interesting point -- he noted that the NFL is entertainment and as such is not employment someone is entitled to. Therefore, in Albom's mind, the NFL can chose whom it allows to work there without recourse. Greg Hardy? Out. Ray Rice? Out. And so on. Funny though, when Michael Sam wanted in, writers like Albom and others said the NFL had to give him a chance, despite his mediocre abilities. When he didn't make it, it was shame on them. John Saunders lauded the CFL for giving Sam a job, as though being gay entitled him to a career in football.

So, according to these sports reporters, men who chose to be abusive, violent or criminal can be tossed out of the league with their blessing. But if the NFL decides it doesn't want men who have chosen a lifestyle of aberrant sexual behavior, then they're on the wrong side of history.

We're seeing in this current political season some pushback from regular folks against the leftist, elitist sensibilities that have been eroding our country's morality for some time now. I think there will come a time, in the not too distant future, when we'll see who's on the wrong side of history. And it isn't going to be those with a sense of decency, honor and a respect for Christian values.

Halloween recap mega-post

This was a pretty disappointing year in terms of saucy costumes. There was a lot of Suicide Squad themed outfits, with plenty of Harley Quinn looks and such. Bai Ling was everywhere half dressed, but she always is, so it's not worth spending bandwidth on her. So here's some of what caught my eye for one reason or another:

Best sauciness is probably these gals -- Charlotte McKinney, Jessica Sutta, and Karrueche Tran:

charlotte mckinney halloweencharlotte mckinney halloween

karrueche tran halloweenkarrueche tran halloween

The supermodels did a decent job this year with Alessandra Ambrosio rocking two different outfits for separate parties, Nina Agdal and Gigi Haddad showing up for Heidi Klum's trademarked party:

Of course, Heidi pretty much wins Halloween every year as she goes the extra mile with her costumes and this Jessica Rabbit is no exception:

Heidi klum halloween

AnnaLynne McCord and Nicki Whelan looked they put some decent effort into their costumes:

annalynne mccord halloweennicki whelan halloween

Jessica Alba and Julianne Hough dressed up I guess, kinda hard to tell. And why is Jessica always looking so miserable? She's going to a party, she knows she's going to be pap'd, f*cking get over yourself honey. Geez!

Jessica alba halloweenjulianne hough halloween

And speaking of dressed up I guess, is Paris in costume here? She sorta looks like this everytime she goes out anyway:

paris hilton halloweenparis hilton halloween

The cat theme seemed fairly prevalent in costumes with Casey Batchelor, Christina Milan, Molly Sims, and Sarah Hyland all working some variation:

Really scary? Farrah Abraham came as herself, and Joanna Krupa wore a hideous headdress that ruined what might have been a sexy outfit:

Kate Hudson misses with what I think is supposed to be an Elektra outfit but this chick Kira Kosarin caught my eye, because that looks to be a real 1911 in that holster she's using for her Lara Croft costume:

Honorable mention to Lindsay Lohan who wore a mesh outfit without the de riguere granny panties that most gals sport in similar get ups and Michelle Tractenberg whose still trying to milk that cleavage to stay relevant as she slips out of the public's attention:

Lastly we have Aubrey O'Day (still alive) and Barbie Blank (no f*cking idea) looking colorful at least and Leeann Rimes who needs to just stop:
